On anyone given day in May, the # of Martin's Landing "Off-'Market" buying opportunities offered to Martin Lake Group Clients has exceeded the available # of Active MLS Listings. I find that to be remarkable and another positive attribute to the service I provide to my Customers and Clients in identifying and facilitating these opportunities and transactions.
I constantly receive inquires as to why certain homeowner have chosen to offer their house For Sale "off-market" as opposed to listing it with me or another agent. While much of that is proprietary, almost each property and circumstance has been unique in reason. With homeowners authorized permission, we have offered both "fair market" and "make me sell" buying oppurtunites.

I have recently learned that there are a good number of buyers who are willing to pay up and secure a house "off-market" to avoid the stress, uncertainly and waste of their valuable time in the sometimes seemingly never ending bid war cycle.
With that being true, contrary to the negative opinions of non participating realtors who warn against "off-market" transaction, my facilitating of these has been positive for both buyer and seller based upon their individual priorities and preferences.
